The Carter Lodge houses 16 rooms, with balconies
overlooking the river or a covered sitting area outside your room. The
honeymoon/Jacuzzi room is quite a romantic setting for your getaway.
The Carter Lodge is located just around the bend
from the center of Chimney Rock Village, where you can walk to shopping
and dining. Whatever your pleasure!! Less than a mile down the road
is beautiful Lake Lure, where you can enjoy a "beach in the mountains".....swim,
play volleyball or just "sun" on the beach. Take a boat ride
on Lake Lure and see where the movie "Dirty Dancing" was filmed
or maybe just explore in a paddle boat or canoe.
